Business and HR Consulting Services
Besides business consulting services the HR Consulting Group specializes in all phases of the Talent Management Process: workforce planning, the development of recruiting strategies and related processes, succession planning, the development of HR policies and practices, total rewards, and employee relations issues.
Talent Strategy Development
Many nonprofits and small businesses struggle to achieve the best results possible because the relationship between their Mission/Business Plan, their Strategic Plan and goals, and their Talent processes are not aligned, are out of date, or don’t exist. The Consulting Group has developed a proprietary process called The Talent Strategy Building Process (TSBP) (copyright©Debbie Finch2015) that helps organizations develop and link their unique Talent Strategy to their Strategic Plan which in turn will drive their Mission or Business Plan. The net result is a robust Talent Strategy that will be aligned with and drive their Strategic Plan.
Selecting and retaining top talent is the cornerstone to success in business today. At the leadership level it is especially critical. A successful search starts with a robust Employee Value Proposition, a focused recruiting strategy, and a Behavior Based Interviewing process that drives obtaining direct insight into the critical competencies that are needed to achieve success in an organization. With over 30 years of executive level selection experience, we have developed the recipe for the “secret sauce” for hiring top talent in both the nonprofit and business world.
Executive Coaching and Team Building
As a leader develops, there comes a time when an organization should consider hiring an executive coach. This could be a way to invest in and help retain either a high potential leader, a newly promoted manager, or a manager being groomed for the next step in their career. Executive coaching typically focuses on leadership development, communication style, strategy, team development, and self-awareness. The Consulting Group takes a strength based approach to a leader’s development and links it to their team and their individual strengths as a way to strategically achieve optimum results. Executive coaching is also helpful when a leader is new to a nonprofit or business. It can significantly reduce ramp-up time and avoid common pitfalls. The executive coaching process typically involves several stages, including intake, assessment, goal setting, and development planning.
A similar strengths based process can be used very effectively to develop and build a team along with their leader.
Significant performance improvement can be achieved at the leader, team, and organizational level through effective Executive Coaching.
